bodyandbike stocks a range of imported items for the New Zealand cycling market, including bike tyres, riding glasses and cycling apparel.
bodyandbike also stock New Zealand Merino garments in a range of fabric weights, including the Thermerino range of merino underwear, and the Merinos Outdoors range of Super Fine Merino base and mid layer garments.
Thermerino garments are made from 100% Merino wool, 21 micron and 190gsm (grams per square metre).
Merinos are made with 100% Super Fine Merino Wool, only 18 microns. The base layer garments are 200gsm while the mid layer garments are 330gsm.
Both Thermerino and Merinos are Made in New Zealand. Other clothing manufacturing companies, like Icebreaker, haved moved their production to China, but my supplier has strong ideas about that sort of thing, supporting New Zealand families by keeping production here in my home town of Christchurch. This allows me to keep in close contact, including next day delivery for items I do not have in stock and order from them.
